2 Year Follow-Up Comparing the Oral Device to the CPAP

Oral Device vs CPAP Follow-Up

When it came to finding out differences, both the device and CPAP were able to demonstrate positive feedback. Both were able to give the patients their energy, improve their health and help them not feel so tired. When it came to the device, the oral appliance had a higher success rate with the mild OSAS patients than the CPAP. The oral appliance tended to be close to the CPAP when it came to moderate and severe cases. It was concluded in the study that “no significant differences were found between oral appliance therapy and CPAP in treating mild to severe OSAS in a 2-y follow-up”.
